TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE
    Welcome to JioTV+
    Jio Platforms Limited Limited ("JPL" "we", "our", "us") having its registered office at Office 101- Saffron, Near Centre Point, Panchwati Rasta 5, Ambawadi, Ahmedabad, Gujarat - 380006, India operates the 'Jio Tv+' application (hereinafter referred to as "Jio Tv+") for its users ("you" / "your" / "yourself") who are active subscribers of the Jio fiber connection provided by Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL).
    This Terms and Conditions of use ("Terms of Use") along with the privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") and the cookie policy shall govern your use/access of JioTv+.
    This Terms of Use is a written binding agreement and an electronic record under Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules there under as applicable and the amended provisions pertaining to electronic records in various statutes under applicable Indian laws. This electronic record is generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signatures. Please read carefully before accessing or using JioTv+ and confirm acceptance.
    JPL is merely acting as a publisher of online curated content, channel aggregator and JPL facilitates storage and transfer of the Content (as defined hereinafter) on as-is basis as per the Information Technology Act, 2000 as amended and the relevant rules made thereunder. JPL holds no responsibility or liability for any Content accessible by you through JioTv+. This Terms of Use is deemed to be published and shall be construed in accordance with the provisions of Rule 3 (1) of Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics code) Rules, 2021 under Information Technology Act, 2000 that require publishing the rules and regulations, Privacy Policy for access or usage of JioTv+.
    Only persons, who are located within the territory of India, and can form legally binding contracts under Indian Contract Act, 1872 may use JIOTV+ and the facilities provided therein. Persons who are "incompetent to contract" within the meaning of the Indian Contract Act, 1872 including un-discharged insolvents etc. are not eligible to use JioTv+. If you are under the age of 18 years, you should review this Terms of Use with your parent or legal guardian to make sure that you and your parent or legal guardian understand and agree to it and further if required your parent/legal guardian shall perform or undertake such activities to enter into a legally binding agreement with JPL.
    YOUR USE, AND ACCESS TO JIOTV+, AT ALL TIMES, IS SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS OF USE, READ WITH THE PRIVACY POLICY, DISCLAIMERS, THIRD PARTY POLICIES AND ALL OTHER POLICIES AND RULES AS MAY BE POSTED ON JIOTV+. YOUR EXPRESS ACCEPTANCE SHALL BE ASSUMED THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD AND UNCONDITIONALLY ACCEPTED THIS TERMS OF USE.
  1. Definitions
    1. "Affiliate" shall mean with respect to JPL, any entity controlling, controlled by, or under common control of such party, whether directly or indirectly through one or more intermediaries and it shall include the present and future direct and indirect Affiliates and associates.
    2. "Content" means the third party linear/streaming channels, VOD content, advertisement, third-party applications link/website link, audio content, audio-visual content, interactive content, online games, texts, photographs etc. made available on JioTv+ to Subscriber.
    3. "Device" shall mean internet-enabled set-top boxes, smart televisions sets, etc.
    4. "Intellectual Property Rights" means all intellectual property rights including, but not limited to, patents, trade secrets, trademarks, service marks, trade names, copyrights and other rights in works of authorship (including rights in computer software), rights in logos and get up, moral and artists' rights, mask work rights, design rights, trade or business names, domain names, know-how, trade secrets, database rights and all intangible rights and privileges of a similar nature analogous or allied to any of the above in every case whether or not registered or unregistered and all rights or forms of protection of a similar nature in any country.
    5. "Jio User Account" means such Subscriber credentials including service ID provided by JPL for availing Subscription.
    6. "JioTV+" means the website/application "JioTV+" and includes (i) the software application in object code that you may access and the scripts, interfaces, graphics, displays, text, documentation and other components/associated data and information made available to you as part of JioTV+; and (ii) any updates, modifications, or enhancements to (i) or any part thereof, as may be provided by JPL at its sole discretion. JioTv+ is available only through on a active Jio Fiber connection.
    7. "Subscriber" means a subscriber of Jio fiber connection provided by RJIL accessing the 'JioTV+' on Device by using the Jio User Account.
    8. "Subscription" means a valid plan offered by RJIL or its Affiliates for its Jio fiber connection in accordance with the terms and conditions provided in the applicable Customer Application Form (CAF).
  2. Registration
    1. In order to access any Content which, you may have been authorized access to as part of, or through your use of, JioTv+ on Device.
    2. You will login on JioTv+ using your Jio User Account and an OTP based authentication or any other means as may be determined by JPL from time to time. You agree not to reveal your Jio User Account information including the service id, OTP and any other user credentials that may be authorised by JPL, to anyone. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your Jio User Account and for all activities that occur on or through your Jio User Account. You agree to immediately notify JPL of any security breach of your Jio User Account. JPL shall not be responsible for any losses arising out of the unauthorized use of your Jio User Account. If JPL suspects any unauthorized activities on your Jio User Account or JioTv+, JPL may suspend the login to JioTv+ in the interest of your and other Jio User Account's safety. You may reach out to JPL for activating your JioTv+ thereafter.
    3. JioTV+ includes a section that exclusively provides access to only child-friendly content. However, in all cases, only persons of the age of 18 years are allowed to register any Account on JioTV+ and will always be responsible for the operation of any such Account.
    4. On logging on to JioTv+ you shall be able to access/view/stream the Content as per the (i) Subscription selected by you; and (ii) the license rights granted for such Content. JPL may permit you to write comments/reviews/feedback regarding JioTv+ on social networking websites through the social networking capabilities incorporated in JioTv+. You shall not host display, upload, modify, publish, transmit, store, update or share any information that-
      1. belongs to another person and to which the user does not have any right;
      2. is obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another's privacy including bodily privacy, insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, racially or ethnically objectionable, relating or encouraging money laundering or gambling, or an online game that causes user harm, or promoting enmity between different groups on the grounds of religion or caste with the intent to incite violence;
      3. is harmful to child;
      4. infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary rights;
      5. deceives or misleads the addressee about the origin of the message or knowingly and intentionally communicates any misinformation or information which is patently false and untrue or misleading in nature or, in respect of any business of the Central Government, is identified as fake or false or misleading by such fact check unit of the Central Government as the Ministry may, by notification published in the Official Gazette, specify;
      6. impersonates another person;
      7. threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign States, or public order, or causes incitement to the commission of any cognisable offence, or prevents investigation of any offence, or is insulting other nation;
      8. contains software virus or any other computer code, file or program designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer resource;
      9. is in the nature of an online game that is not verified as a permissible online game;
      10. is in the nature of advertisement or surrogate advertisement or promotion of an online game that is not a permissible online game, or of any online gaming intermediary offering such an online game;
      11. violates any law for the time being in force;
      For the Purpose of this clause, "user harm" and "harm" mean any effect which is detrimental to a user or child, as the case may be;
    5. You give JPL express rights and consent to display your rating / review in relation to JioTv+, including making it available to other members for viewing. These features may change without notice to you and the degrees of associated information sharing and functionality may also change without notice.
    6. JPL is free at its sole discretion to use any comments, information, ideas, concepts, reviews, or techniques or any other material contained in any communication you may send to us ("User Feedback"), including responses to questionnaires or through postings to JioTv+ and user submissions, without further compensation, acknowledgement or payment to you for any purpose whatsoever including, but not limited to, developing, manufacturing and marketing products and creating, modifying or improving JPL's service offering including JioTv+. By posting/submitting any User Feedback/user submission on JioTv+, you grant JPL a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free irrevocable, sub-licensable license and right in such User Feedback/user submission to JPL, including the right to display, use, reproduce, or modify the User Feedback/user submission in any media, software or technology of any kind now existing or developed in the future.
  3. Use of JioTv+: You hereby agree that all rights, title and interests in JioTv+ vest with JPL or its licensors. Subject to your strict and full compliance with the terms and conditions herein, JPL grants to you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-assignable, non-sub-licensable, limited license to use JioTv+ on Devices owned and/or controlled by you, and to access and use the Content only for your own private, personal and non-commercial viewing through JioTv+ on such Devices, strictly in accordance with the terms of the Terms of Use and as per the Subscription selected by you. You shall be permitted to use JioTv+ only as a single Device. Except for the rights expressly stated herein, no other rights are granted to you with respect to JioTv+ or the Content, either by implication, estoppel, or otherwise. Some part of the Content provided by JioTv+ may be sourced from a third party by way of deep-linking third-party application with JioTv+. In case you want to upgrade your Subscription plan to a higher Subscription plan then, it can be done by visiting myjio.com You are encouraged to view the terms and conditions of such third parties and our Affiliates including but not limited to JioNews (url: https://jionews.com/termofuse ), JioCinema (url; www.jiocinema.com and JioTV (url: www.jiotv.com ) for content made available by them through JioTv+. In addition to Device, you shall be entitled to view the third-party Content on such number of mobile and internet enabled devices as per terms and conditions of such third applications. You may be required to separately login on certain thirdparty applications to access and view the Content made available by such third-party applications including payment of subscription for such third-party applications.
  4. Jio Fiber Connect . You acknowledge and agree that usage and ability to use JioTv+ is in accordance with the terms and conditions of availing Jio Fiber connection provided by RJIL or made available to you through your Smart TV. You shall always have an active Subscription to use JioTv+. In the event you do not have any active Subscription, your access to Content may be disabled and you may no longer be able to use JioTv+ unless you have activated your Subscription.
  5. New Versions. JPL, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to add additional features or functions, or to provide programming fixes, updates and upgrades, to JioTv+ (collectively "Upgrade" ). You accept, acknowledge and agree that JPL has no obligation to make available to you any Upgrades or subsequent versions of JioTv+. You also agree and accept that you will have to enter into a renewed version of this Terms of Use if you want to download, install or use an Upgrade or new version of JioTv+. We request you to have updated Device to continue using JioTv+ on your Device and we do not assure that JioTv+ downloaded on your Device shall operate in case you fail to upgrade JioTv+, or the Device is non-compatible.
  6. Classification Rating. All Content (excluding channels) available on JioTV+ is classified according to appropriate rating systems to inform users of its suitability for different age groups. The classification ratings include: (i) U (Universal): Suitable for all ages, (ii) UA (Parental Guidance): Suitable for children above a certain age; parental guidance is advised, and (iii) A (Adult): Restricted to adult audiences only. Viewers are encouraged to check content ratings before viewing. The JioTv+ app may provide features to filter content based on classification ratings. The channels that are part of the Content are provided 'as-is-as-available' basis.
  7. The platform provides parents or guardians with the ability to activate parental controls to restrict a child's access to certain types of VoD content, particularly content rated as mature or unsuitable for minors. Parents are encouraged to review the content accessible on the platform to ensure the safety and appropriateness of the content being accessed by their children.
  8. INDUSTRY STANDARD EFFORTS ARE MADE TO KEEP THE SERVICE RUNNING SMOOTHLY. HOWEVER, JPL TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR, AND WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR, JIOTV+ BEING UNAVAILABLE DUE TO ANY REASONS BEYOND ITS CONTROL. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR INTERRUPTIONS, DELAYS, INACCURACIES, ERRORS, OR OMISSIONS ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF JIOTV+ OR ANY CONNECTED SERVICE OR WITH RESPECT TO THE MATERIAL AND USER MATERIAL THEREON AND DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT YOUR USE OF JIOTV+ WILL PROVIDE SPECIFIC RESULTS; AND WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT JIOTV+ OR ANY CONNECTED SERVICE, LINKED MICROSITES, ANY MATERIALS, THIRD-PARTY CONTENT, SERVICES OFFERED WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR FREE OR ACCURATE OR SUIT YOUR PURPOSE.
  9. Unless otherwise specified, JioTV+ is presented solely for the territory of Indian for the purpose of entertainment and promoting programs. JioTV+ makes no representation that JioTV+ is appropriate or available for use in locations other than India.
  10. Intellectual Property Rights . All right, title and interest, including without limitation, copyright, trademark and other intellectual property rights in and to JioTv+ and any derivatives thereof are owned/licensed by JPL. This Terms of Use does not provide you with any ownership interest in JioTv+ or with any other right other than as expressly set forth in this Terms of Use. JioTv+ is protected under India and international copyright/patent laws and treaties. You shall also be strictly liable for any misuse or abuse of JioTv+ or in any other manner, to use the 'Content' provided to you. The same may amount to piracy and / or infringement of Intellectual Property Rights and the appropriate legal and remedial action, as available, shall be initiated against You including but not limited to disconnection of JioTv+ services and claim appropriate damages and / or compensation.
  11. Restrictions .
    1. You shall use JioTv+ strictly in accordance with this Terms of Use and shall not: (a) decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer or attempt to derive the source code of or in any manner decrypt JioTv+; (b) make any modification, adaptation or improvement, enhancement, or derivative work from JioTv+ or incorporate any portion of the software into your own programs or compile any portion of it in combination with your own programs, transfer it for use with another service; (c) violate any applicable laws or regulations including but not limited to copyright act, import and export control laws and regulations in connection with your access or use of JioTv+ or the Content; (d) remove or obscure any proprietary notice (including any notice of copyright or trademark) forming a part of JioTv+ or the Content; (e) use JioTv+ or the Content for any revenue generation endeavor, or any other purpose for which it is not designed or intended; (f) install, use or permit JioTv+ to exist on more than one Device at a time or on any other applicable device, other than by means of your separate downloads of JioTv+, each of which is subject to a separate license; (g) make available JioTv+ over a network or other environment permitting access or use by multiple users at the same time or where it could be used by multiple devices at the same time, whether or not the same is for commercial use; (h) use JioTv+ for data mining, scraping, crawling, redirecting, or for any purpose not in accordance with the terms of the Terms of Use; (i) use JioTv+ to attempt to interfere with the proper display of the Content; (j) use JioTv+ for undertaking any hacking activities like breaching or attempt to breach the security of another user or attempt to gain access to any other person's computer, software or data without the knowledge and consent of such person; (k) use JioTv+ for creating a service or software that is directly or indirectly, competitive with JioTv+; or (l) derive any confidential information, processes, data or algorithms from JioTv+.
    2. You also expressly agree not to engage in any use or activity that (a) may interrupt, destroy, alter, damage, delay, or limit the functionality or integrity of JioTv+ or the Content including that of, any associated software, hardware, telecommunications or wireless equipment; (b) may manipulate identifiers, or numeric information to disguise the origin of any user, device, material or other information; (c) may interfere with the proper working of JioTv+ or prevent others from using JioTv+; or (d) may delete the copyright and other proprietary rights notices on JioTv+.
    3. You agree not to use JioTv+ for any activity relating to infringement of any intellectual property rights, including any trademarks, service marks, or trade names, privacy rights, personality rights, or any other proprietary rights of any third party. You shall not use JioTv+ and access the Content through JioTv+ outside the territory of the Republic of India, unless permitted by JPL in writing. JPL shall have the right to use various technologies and digital rights management mechanisms to enforce this territorial restriction and/or to verify your compliance with this restriction.
    4. Nothing contained herein shall be construed or implied to grant any right or license to use any trademarks, trade names, service marks or logos, which are a part of JioTv+ or the Content, without the prior written consent of the owner of rights in such marks/logo.
    5. You agree not to incorporate the Content into, or stream or retransmit the Content via, any hardware or software application or make it available via frames or in-line links unless expressly permitted by JPL in writing.
    6. You shall not access the Content by any means other than through JioTv+. You shall, unless explicitly provided herein, neither directly nor through the use of any device, software, web-based service, or other means copy, download, stream capture, reproduce, duplicate, archive, distribute, upload, publish, re-publish, modify, translate, broadcast, perform, publicly display, sell, transmit or retransmit, edit, re-use, adapt, incorporate or create any derivative works of, any Content streamed / viewed / downloaded from JioTv+.
    7. You are permitted to use and exploit a particular Content only in accordance with the rights granted by JPL for that particular Content in accordance with your Subscription and only through JioTv+. You agree not to, or permit anyone else to, circumvent, disable or otherwise interfere with security-related features and any digital rights management mechanisms of JioTv+ including the features that prevent or restrict use or copying of any Content provided to you through JioTv+.
    8. JPL does not endorse any Content made available through JioTv+, or any opinion, recommendation, or advice expressed thereon by any user and JPL expressly disclaims any and all liability in connection with such views or opinions or comments provided by the users.
    9. JPL shall use reasonable efforts to make the Content available to the users, at all times through JioTv+. However, the Content is provided over the Internet, data and cellular networks and so the quality and availability of the same may be affected by factors outside JPL's control. Accordingly, JPL does not accept any responsibility for unavailability of JioTv+ or Content, at any time for factors outside JPL's control.
    10. Part of JioTv+ may contain advertising information or promotion material, or other material submitted to JPL by third parties. Responsibility for ensuring that material submitted for inclusion on JioTv+ complies with applicable international and national law is exclusively on the party providing the information/material/advertising including such party being liable to comply with the advertisement self-certification requirements as per applicable law. Your correspondence or business dealings with, or participation in promotions of advertisers including payment and delivery of related goods or services, and any other terms, conditions, warranties or representations associated with such dealings, are solely between you and such advertiser, without recourse to JPL (except for JPL content). Before relying on any advertising material, you should independently verify its relevance for your purpose, and should obtain appropriate professional advice. JPL shall not be responsible nor liable for any loss or claim that you may have against an advertiser or any consequential damages arising on account of you relying on the contents of the advertisement.
  12. Representation & Warranty. You represent, warrant and covenant that You shall not lend, rent, lease, pledge, sub-license, distribute or allow others the access to JioTv+ in any manner. You further represent, warrant and covenant that you shall not record duplicate, cable cast, exhibit or further redistribute or use/display on social media or otherwise use the Content in a manner prohibited under law. You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country outside the territory of India and You undertake to not use JioTv+ or try to view the Content anywhere outside the geographical boundaries of India. A breach of the above terms of this clause shall entitle JPL to take both civil and criminal action against You in court of law, at your costs and expenses.
  13. Disclaimer. JIOTV+ IS BEING DELIVERED TO YOU AS-IS AND JPL MAKES NO WARRANTY AS TO ITS MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS, USE OR PERFORMANCE. JPL/ CONTENT PROVIDER DO NOT WARRANT THE MERCHANTABILITY, NON- INFRINGEMENT OF THIRD- PARTY RIGHTS, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR ERROR-FREE PERFORMANCE OR NON-AVAILABILITY OF ANY PARTICULAR CONTENT, RESULTS YOU MAY OBTAIN BY USING JIOTV+ OR DOCUMENTATION. IT IS FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGED BY YOU THAT JPL/ CONTENT PROVIDER HEREBY DISCLAIM ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. IN PARTICULAR, JPL DOES NOT REPRESENT OR WARRANT TO YOU THAT YOUR USE OF JIOTV+ WILL BE FREE FROM ERROR OR THAT ANY INFORMATION OBTAINED BY YOU AS A RESULT OF YOUR USE OF JIOTV+ WILL BE ACCURATE AND RELIABLE. JPL SHALL ONLY BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PRODUCT WARRANTIES TO THE EXTENT SO EXPRESSLY STATED HEREIN THIS TERMS OF USE.
  14. Release and Indemnification. To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to release and waive any and all claims and/or liability against JPL arising from connection with your use of JioTv+ and /or any Content thereto. You shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless JPL, its Affiliates and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from and against any and all, losses, damages, liabilities, claims, actions, judgments, settlements, interest, awards, penalties, fines, costs or expenses, demands, assessments, or payments of whatever kind, including reasonable attorneys' fees, disbursements and expenses that arise out of or relate to an action, arbitration, investigation, hearing, litigation or suit (whether civil, criminal, administrative, judicial or investigative, and whether public or private) commenced, brought, conducted or heard by or before, or otherwise involving, any governmental authority or arbitrator made, brought or asserted by a third party, including a governmental authority in connection with, or arising out of your use of JioTv+ and/or Content or your breach of the terms of the Terms of Use or any other policy or any other restrictions or guidelines provided by JPL or any acts committed by you in violation of applicable laws, regulation or these terms. This indemnification obligation will survive this Terms of Use and Your use of JioTv+ / Content. You agree that JPL shall have no liability for, and you agree to defend, indemnify and hold JPL harmless against, any claims, losses or damages arising out of, or in connection with, your unauthorized use of any Content and/or JioTv+.
  15. Limitation of liability.
    16. YOU ASSUME THE ENTIRE RISK OF USING JIOTV+ AND THE CONTENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL JPL BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF PROFITS, INTERRUPTION OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF INFORMATION, OR ANY OTHER PECUNIARY LOSS) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE OR ACCESS, JIOTV+ OR THE CONTENT OR FOR ANY SECURITY BREACH OR ANY VIRUS, BUG, UNAUTHORIZED INTERVENTION, DEFECT, OR TECHNICAL MALFUNCTIONING OF JIOTV+, NON-AVAILABILITY OF INTERNET, WHETHER OR NOT FORESEEABLE OR WHETHER OR NOT JPL HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, OR BASED ON ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, INCLUDING BREACH OF CONTRACT OR WARRANTY, NEGLIGENCE OR OTHER TORTIOUS ACTION, OR ANY OTHER CLAIM ARISING OUT, OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH, YOUR USE OF, OR ACCESS TO, JIOTV+ OR THE CONTENT. FURTHER, JPL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY TEMPORARY DISABLEMENT, PERMANENT DISCONTINUANCE OR MODIFICATION OF JIOTV+ BY JPL OR FOR ANY CONSEQUENCES RESULTING FROM SUCH ACTIONS. JPL'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY (WHETHER UNDER CONTRACT, TORT INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE, WARRANTY OR OTHERWISE) AND THAT OF ITS AFFILIATES SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE AGGREGATE SUBSCRIPTION AMOUNT LAST PAID BY YOU TO ACCESS AND VIEW THE CONTENT OR RS. 100 (INDIAN RUPEE ONE HUNDRED ONLY), WHICHEVER IS LESS.
  16. Termination and Survival JPL, in its sole discretion, may terminate or suspend your access to JioTv+ without any obligation to serve any prior notice and without any obligations or liabilities towards you or towards any third parties. This Terms of Use shall automatically terminate upon failure by you to comply with its terms or if You fail to remain an 'Active Subscriber'. Upon termination of this Terms of Use, your access to Content shall be disabled and you may no longer be able to use JioTv+ unless you have activated your Subscription. The provisions of Sections 6,7,8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 of this Terms of Use shall survive termination.
  17. Data Protection. JPL collect, stores, processes, shares, transfers to third parties including Affiliates, JPL service providers etc. your data to meet your service requirements while you use JioTv+. JPL follows its privacy policy, for further details relating to our privacy policy please refer to our Privacy Policy located at https://apigw.jio.ril.com/help/jiotvplus/content/androidtv/privacypolicy.html. Notwithstanding the foregoing, JPL reserves the right to disclose any information in response to / that it is required to be shared, disclosed or made available to any governmental, administrative, regulatory, quasi-juidcial or judicial authority under any law or regulation applicable to JPL. Further, JPL may (and you authorize JPL to) disclose your name, street address, city, state, post code, country, phone number, email, social media account(s) and company name etc., as we in our sole discretion believe necessary or appropriate in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringement, piracy, or other unlawful activity.
  18. Governing Law. This Terms of Use is governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India. The courts in Mumbai shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear disputes arising out of the use of JioTv+.
  19. Relationship . None of the provisions of this Terms of Use shall be deemed to constitute a partnership, franchise, joint venture, association of persons or agency between you and JPL and you shall have no authority to bind JPL in any manner, whatsoever.
  20. Changes to the Terms of Use . JPL reserves the right to change the Terms of Use under which JioTv+ is operated, and services are offered, including but not limited to the charges, if any, associated with the use of JioTv+. The Terms of Use may be further modified based on changes in the business, legal and regulatory requirements. JPL will periodically and at least once a year notify you the current Terms of Use. You are encouraged to periodically visit this page to review these Terms of Use and any changes to it. If you disagree with any of the changes to the Terms of Use, JPL may disable you from accessing or using JioTv+.
  21. Communications. JPL may send information, offer products and services to you from time to time. Further, when you use JioTv+ or send emails or other data, information or communication to JPL, you agree and understand that you are communicating with JPL through electronic records and you consent to receive communications via electronic records from JPL periodically and as and when required. JPL may communicate with you by email/mobile phone number provided by you in your communications or at the time of registration or by any other mode of communication, electronic or otherwise.
  22. Force Majeure. JPL shall be under no liability whatsoever in the event of non-availability of any portion of JioTv+ or Content occasioned by act of God, war, disease, revolution, riot, civil commotion, strike, lockout, flood, fire, pandemic, failure of any public utility, man-made disaster, infrastructure failure, non-availability of telecommunications services including internet services, laws or government action/order /direction, or any other cause whatsoever beyond the reasonable control of JPL.
  23. Redressal of Grievance. If you have any grievances in relation to JioTv+, you may send a notice to Grievance Redressal Officer at Miss. Radha Nair, Reliance Corporate IT Park, TC-22, Thane Belapur Road, Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai 400701, Email id: grievance.officer@jio.com. The grievances redressal will be in line with the applicable law.
  24. Content Complaints
    25. Jio Platforms Limited complies to the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 ("IT Rules 2021") and its amendments.
    Complaint Registration
    You can reach out to us at- grievance.officer@jio.com for any grievance regarding content published by us which is not in observance or adherence to the provisions applicable to the online curated content publishers under the IT Rules 2021.
    Please furnish following details whilst registering your Complaint:
    1. Details of Complainant (Full Name of Complainant, Email ID, Jio User Account, Service ID),
    2. Title of content,
    3. Date of viewing,
    4. Details of relevant portion alleging violation of Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 or its amendments,
    5. Detailed grievance/concern, and
    6. Such other particulars as are relevant to the subject matter of the Complaint.
    Please note that the Complaint will be considered Incomplete, if any one of the above details are missing;
    Any anonymous and/or pseudo anonymous Complaints shall not be entertained; and any false, misleading or mala fide Complaints shall be subject to applicable Indian laws.
  25. Redressal Process.
    Receipt of your Complaint as per above shall be acknowledged in
    Compliance with Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 or its amendments : Upon review of Complaint, if the Grievance Officer is of view that the Content is in compliance with the said Rules, you shall receive appropriate reply. Violation of Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 (as amended) : Upon review of Complaint, if the Grievance Officer is of view that the Content is in violation of Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. (as amended), then we shall evaluate the Complaint thoroughly and communicate to you specifying the requisite action taken to appropriately address the Complaint.
  26. No Waiver . No waiver of any breach of any provision of this Terms of Use constitutes a waiver of any prior, concurrent or subsequent breach of the same or any other provisions, and will not be effective unless made in writing and signed by an authorized representative of JPL.
  27. Severability. If any of the provisions of the Terms of Use are deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that part of the Terms of Use will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions of the Terms of Use.
  28. Entire Agreement. This Terms of Use including the Privacy Policy, as amended from time to time, constitutes the entire agreement between the you and JPL and supersedes all prior understandings between you and JPL relating to the subject matter herein.
