Not able to login
  1. Verify that your device is connected to the internet with an active cellular or WiFi network.
  2. Verify that login credentials (user id and password) are correctly entered
Not able to hear the audio (JioMusic playing with no sound)
  1. Check the device volume.
  2. In Android, check for "Media" volume and should not be set to 0. In iOS, check the volume by pressing the Volume Up key.
  3. Verify that your device is connected to the internet with an active cellular or WiFi network.
  4. Kill the application. Navigate to path "Settings > Manage apps > Downoaded apps", tap on JioMusic to clear the cache. Re-launch the app once done.
Streaming Not able to stream the songLogin
  1. Verify that the active internet connectivity is present
  2. Inside the application, tap on the Left Drawer (Hamburger). Check whether "Go Offline" has been enabled. If it is enabled, toggle the button to turn it off and try to stream a song
  3. If all above steps fail to fix the issue, kill the application and relaunch it to stream the music.
Not able to create playlist
  1. Verify that your device is connected to the internet.
  2. Two playlists cannot be created with the same name, so check whether any playlist already exists with the name that you are currently trying to create a playlist with.
  3. Try after sometime, maybe server is not responding at that moment.
  4. Log out of the application. Log back in and try to create a playlist.
  5. If that does not work, unistall and reinstall the app and try again.
Not able to add a song in the playlist
  1. No duplicate entries are allowed, you cannot add same song or album in the playlist.
Not able to download songs/albums/playlist
  1. Verify that your device is connected to the internet.
  2. Check the device memory and whether any free space is available to download any more content. (In an iPhone, go to Setting -> General -> Usage and check the Available storage. In Android, navigate to the path "Settings > Storage to check the free space availability".
  3. If memory is not available, create the free space of a minimum upto 800MB depending upon the device to re-download the songs.
Cannot stream music via JioMusic in my office / in some networks
  1. Try to connect to other Wifi network or use Cellular data, streaming applications might be blocked on certain networks due to company policy.
Unable to go online with JioMusic
  1. Verify that your device is connected to the internet with an active cellular or WiFi network.
  2. Use a different Wifi network or try running the app on cellular data.
Unable to install JioMusic on my device
  1. For an Android phone- go to Settings -> Security and under Device Administrations, check whether permission has been given to install apps from Unknown Sources. Make sure that "Unknown Sources" option is enabled
Application is not working as expected
  1. Check that you are on the latest version of JioMusic by tapping on 'Update' under the Settings in the Left Drawer (Hamburger). Update the app with the new version, if available.
  2. Kill the application. Navigate to path "Settings > Manage apps > Downoaded apps", tap on JioMusic to clear the cache. Re-launch the app once done.
